SeeSite constructive 2D & 3D CGI is based in Mallorca, and with a solid nautical background, uses today's computer technology to create photo-realistic 3D representations of how your planned yacht or land-based project will eventually look from their earliest development stages through to completion.
There are many facets to 3D CGI that you may not have considered for your Construction Management, Engineering Solutions, Parts Fabrication, Project Visualisation and also your Marketing:
The Construction Management Industry considers this progressive technology as an increasingly necessary requirement for any projects that require structural design analysis; SeeSite meets these high expectations.
Sandy Graham has a National Diploma in Design as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Graphic Information Design, and so, as more than a “computer operator”, can contribute immensely to the clients’, architects’, or contractors’ ultimate vision with a formally trained eye for good design both in function and form.
Sandy also, clearly, has draughtsman skills.
The modeling process starts with SeeSite asking for as much information as the Client can give and then issueing a time breakdown and project plan for the works.
Typically, there will be a request for 2D DWGs, EPSs or PDFs of the project from the Architect, Engineer and Designer. Or we can create these directly from working with the Clients’ own concepts.
We use photos and dimensions of bespoke components and any unusual materials. In order to to re-create the desired ‘textures’ we edit the output to utilise reflections, refractions, highlights, Fresnel, transparency options and bump maps.
If your project needs its own HDR (high dynamic range) ‘dome environment’, we stitch this so that the horizon and surfaces in your model reflect the surroundings you have in mind.
Rich Photographic Content (RPCs) will complete the final image. Photographic objects like people, foliage and vehicles help with your branding of the project. SeeSite has a comprehensive library of these, but can also make our own to order.
The underlying model is usually quick to make; as in all good construction, preparation is everything.
We then create the lighting and the client reviews exactly how the options will look with opportunities to make changes any detail such as placement or intensity.
After the client has reviewed the early renders or 3D models, we make any alterations through a controlled and structured process until all parties are agreed on the final specification and happy with the fully visualized output...
... that can now be put into manufacture from either the SeeSite 2DAutoCAD drawings, 3D models or drawings, or directly manufactured from factory drawings or a 3D printer.

SeeSite - From 2D CAD, right through to Augmented Reality !
Client Confidentiality and IPR are matters that SeeSite take extremely seriously and we normally enter into Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with our clients. All work is in house, nothing is out sourced. Unfortunately this prevents SeeSite from displaying project images for our 2D draughting section. Please look through the images on the pages to the left to be assured of SeeSite's competence regarding CAD.
SeeSite outputs 2D drawings in the following popular electronic formats;
.dwg; .dxf; .wmf; .sat; .stl; .eps; .dxx; .bmp; .dae; .3ds; .fbx; .obj; .wrl; .xsi; .psd; .gif; .jpeg; .png; .tga and .tiff.
The .dwg format that SeeSite regularly outputs is probably the most widely used format for CAD and for streamlining design processes like drafting, documentation and manufacturing and is normally in the form of electronic files for print or machining operations. SeeSite can Plot (print) your file onto varied international paper sizes up to AO, (841cm x 1189cm.)
The 2D .dwg format will furnish enough information for your product manufacturer to complete an entire project and incorporate all three main groups of drawings; architectural, electrical, and mechanical.
SeeSite would stress that it is not a replacement for an Architect or approved / registered Navel Architect. If it is apparent that your plans are already at this stage, SeeSite is more than happy to put you directly in touch with Architects and Naval Architects that deal with the relevant classifications for your project.
However, if you would like to view your plans in 3D before submitting them to an Architect, SeeSite can create these and then re-convert into 2D for presentation to the appropriate professional.
SeeSite also creates CAD drawings directly for machining in product manufacture.
In 3D CAD, SeeSite's modeling creates mathematical representation of any three-dimensional surface of an object via specialised software.
We make an illusion of 'orbit-able' 3D space by projecting map points onto a two-dimensional plane. In our case, the three-dimensional points define an object we wish to render, and the two-dimensional plane is the screen.
SeeSite uses this computer simulation of the 3D physical phenomena to allow viewing of our model from any angle, including from the inside looking out.
- To orbit the models, keep left mouse button down and move the mouse around.
- To go from side to side do the same with the control key down, (bottom left on the keyboard.)
- To go in and out, use the mouse wheel.
Thankyou for your patience while the models load. You may need to click on the 'viewports' to start.
In this space, our objects are always drawn in real world units at full size.
This is a good opportunity for the architect, engineer or designer to select different materials than those originally specified and to clarify this within the specifications.
After the modelling and texturing stage, we can orbit around and take "renders" a sort of virtual photograph.
After the Client has viewed the first renders, there is now an oppurtunity to make alterations to materials and review the project, giving any surfaces alternative visual properties.
The iterative nature of this SeeSite system produces final studio renders that present an exact architectural visualisation of your final and established project proposal.

3D backlit boat lettering can be an outstanding and elegant solution for yacht signage.
SeeSite can work with you to advance your design ideas and then issue you with photorealistic renders of typographical and yacht logo proposals for your 3D stainless steel yacht name, with and without backlight.
You can then review the proposals and make an informed decision as to which design most suits the yacht.
Seesite has associations with both manufacturers of backlit signage, as well as the field leader in nautical applications of textured gold, silver and platinum leaf work.
SeeSite can present to you how a change in paint livery can affect the lines of a yacht. This is an ideal service for the leaders in yacht cosmetics to help present paint proposal options to their clients.
This service continues into use for other marine graphics, even including how a spinnaker design would look in 3D PDF, depicting the inboard view from deck and outboard veiw from distance. As seen on the 3D modelling page.
GRP is a lightweight, extremely strong, and robust material. Known as glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) in Britain, (FRP) in the USA, or by the trade name Fiberglass.
Contact SeeSite with your needs and we can work with you to design a custom GRP form that can then go on to a Naval Architect or Engineer for any final adjustments and Certification before manufacture.
SeeSite can update or create new Superyacht safety plans. All work is carried out using the latest internationally recognized IMO graphical symbols.
Drawings are produced as originals working from the yachts General Arrangement or by importing existing CAD files held by the customer.
For added protection plans can be laminated; this is important if the fire control plan is to be sited outside the deckhouse.
SeeSite will come on board and locate your equipment plus any changes to it's placement and then take care of all draughting ready for your Certification.
We keep copies on file for future updates so modification is cost effective.
The visualised 3D geometry is translated into a solid which is closed and 'watertight' and can be imported into a 3D solid printer.
A 3D printer works by taking our STL file and makes a series of cross-sectional slices. Each slice is then printed one on top of the other to create the 3D object out of materials such as;
2D CAD Draughting
3D modeling
Clay renders
Studio Renders
Animations
3D PDF & HTML
Stainless Steel design
Lit Superyacht signage
Yacht Paint Profiles
GRP structure design
Superyacht Safety Plans
STL for parts manufacture
Testimonials
"We approached Sandy and her company SeeSite as she came highly recommend from others within the industry. Working with Sandy we set her a series of challenges to produce various designs into 3d for our clients to view. These designs, after viewing and acceptance by our clients were transformed into actual mechanical working parts and installed onto our client’s vessels, ultimately getting class and flag approval for design and the working nature of the project.
I can ultimately endorse the quality of skill and speed of turnaround for challenging tasks and Sandy's great ability to interpret my thoughts into something tangible for ultimate approval.
Pure will certainly be using Sandy and SeeSite in the future for our design and animation projects. If you require a reference for SeeSite, please don’t hesitate to contact me"
